The story is set in war-ravaged England a long time ago. When the old king is killed, everyone is surprised when a young boy named Arthur shows that he is brave and strong enough to become the country´s new king. These are hard times, though, and the young king needs the magician Merlin and the magic sword, Excalibur, to fight against evil.
